Charlie
Percussionist, severe-weather watcher, and builder of small useful things behind a few panes of liquid glass.

Percussionist
Charlie lives on the mallet keyboards. Most of his practice hours go to the marimba and xylophone - four-mallet rolls, fast single-stroke runs, and the occasional transcription that has no business being on a keyboard.
Marimba
Five octaves of warm rosewood. Four-mallet voicing, lyrical phrasing, and the patience to let low notes ring.
Xylophone
Bright, cutting, and fast. The instrument for ragtime breaks and wind-ensemble lines that need to sit on top of the band.
Eyes on the sky
Severe weather enthusiast
When the atmosphere gets interesting, so does Charlie. He tracks outbreaks, reads soundings for fun, and keeps a radar tab open the way most people keep music playing.
